Based in Newark, New Jersey, Randall Manufacturing was founded by Lionel Tinfow in 1955. After working as a sales representative selling aluminum molding, Lionel decided he could do better and vastly improve many of the items he sold. So, he left and quickly got to work inventing superior products. Three generations later, Randall holds dozens of patents, and Lionel’s entrepreneurial spirit continues to fuel their growth.
The new website objectives were to showcase the products and make it easier for users to find them. The new site needed to give Randall a strong credible brand and digital presence. The target audience was the American workforce specifically focusing on hardware stores, lumber yards and floor stores. Our research into the Randall story lead us to key takeaways that set the tone for the brand Classic American, Builders, Workers, Grit, Family owned and operated, made in the U.S., quality and innovation.
